Yes.  Cremation is only a method of disposition, which in NJ takes place at the cemetery (methods: Burial, Entombment or Cremation) this does not take place at the funeral home/cremation service.  So services before the cemetery/crematory are your choice,  traditional viewing/private family viewing, church services, memorial service or celebration of life service.  With cremation, your options are endless.
