William (Bill) Israel, 76, of Whiting passed away Monday, June 19, 2023. Bill worked in the maintenance department for the Garden State Parkway Authority for many years before retiring. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he resided in Seaside Heights before moving to Whiting in 2002. Bill is survived by his wife JoAnn of Whiting, two stepdaughters Andrea Gaskill of Manchester Twp., Jennifer Amodio of Jamesburg, and four step grandchildren. Memorial gathering 11am-1pm Monday July 10, 2023, at DeGraff Lakehurst Funeral Home, 119 Union Ave., Lakehurst.
