Philip R. Gillhaus, 82, of Renaissance, Manchester Twp. passed away July 30, 2023. Philip was an IT Manager for McBee Systems, Parsippany for many years before retiring. Prior to that, he worked at Jet Aviation, Teterboro for fifteen years. Born in New York, NY, he resided in Middletown before moving to Manchester Twp. sixteen years ago. Philip was a member of NJ Hi-Railers Model Train Club, and a past member of the Vincent T. Lombardi Knights of Columbus Council #6552, Middletown. Active in his community, Philip was a past editor of the Renaissance Times, and a supporter of the Renaissance Shields. Philip was predeceased by his brother Frank. Philip is survived by his wife Kathy of forty- three years, two sons Philip Gillhaus, Shane Thomas and his wife, Elizabeth, three daughters Jacqueline Gillhaus, Suzanne Travis and her husband, Robert, Terri Floto and her husband, Scott, his sister Marilyn Lynch and her husband, Donald, ten grandchildren, Kayden Thomas, Anthony Marcinka, Alex Marcinka, Olivia Marcinka, Eric Marcinka, Steven Travis, Jillian Reeves, Nikolas Michaels, Christopher Floto, Alex Floto, two great-grandchildren, Tucker Reeves and Leo Travis. Visitation 2-6pm Friday August 4, 2023, at DeGraff Lakehurst Funeral Home, 119 Union Ave., Lakehurst.
