Henry “Hank” Hoffman, 89, of Leisure Village West, Manchester Township, passed away at home on Monday, May 12, 2025. Hank dedicated 37 years to working as a High Voltage Troubleshooter for Con Edison in Staten Island, New York, before retiring in 1993.

Born and raised in Staten Island, NY, he later resided in Howell Township, Little Egg Harbor, and West Creek before settling in Manchester Township in 2018.

A proud veteran, Hank held the rank of Private 1st Class, trained as a jungle warfare expert in the US Army from 1955 to 1957. Then served in the reserves until 1963 and released from the United States Army with an Honorable Discharge.

Hank was known for his love of farm animals and Country Western music. A real cowboy at heart. Although Hank loved everything country, his family remained the most important aspect of his life. He is survived by his five children, Henry and his wife, Susan of Highland Lake, NY, Sandra Neumaier and her husband, Tom of Point Pleasant Beach, David and his wife, Barbara of Manchester Twp., Clinton and his wife, Tara of Barnegat, and Christian of Tuckerton. Also to mourn his loss, Hank “Pop”, leaves behind 15 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

          Visitation, Monday May 19, 2025, from 3-7pm, and Tuesday May 20, 2025, from 10-11am at DeGraff Lakehurst Funeral Home, 119 Union Ave., Lakehurst followed by interment at 12pm at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust Dr., Lakewood.
