
Victor Bala, age 83, of Leisure Village West, Manchester Township, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025. Victor managed the religious store at St. John’s Roman Catholic Church in Lakehurst for many years. Born and raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey, he resided in California and Florida before returning to New Jersey and settling in Manchester Township. Victor proudly served in the United States Army from 1964-1967. He was a dedicated parishioner of St. John’s Roman Catholic Church and an esteemed member of the Knights of Columbus Council 12940. Victor was passionate about singing and dancing and was an active member of the dance club at Leisure Village West. He is survived by numerous family members and friends. St. John’s R.C. Church will be receiving friends of Victor at 9am Tuesday, June 24, 2025, with a Funeral Mass at 10am. Interment with Military Honors will immediately follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
As a member of the Dance Club myself, it was so evident that Victor loved to dance. May he be in heaven dancing with the Lord now. Thank you, Victor, for your military service. You are a Patriot. My condolences to Victor’s family. May his memory be a blessing.
Victor will be greatly missed. He had a kind heart, a wonderful spirit, a beautiful soul. We will miss him greatly. Rest in peace, dear Victor.

Dearest Victor, I am missing you every day! You brought a lot of fun and joy and laughter into my life! You had love in your heart for everyone you knew and you really cared about people. I miss your funny, quirky, genuine presence but I can still hear you saying “Hi, Doll” whenever I think o you. Love you, Vic.

Victor, my friend, you are already missed very much. Whether he was doing meticulous landscaping.for me or driving me to many appointments, Victor was always cheerful, kind and thoughtful to work with and always had a funny anecdote ready to make me laugh. He will be greatly missed and in my thoughts and prayers.
Victor was an amazing person. He took care of his cousin Alex and my sister Linda. Linda was -Alex’s wife. I would like to have Alex’s ashes so he can be buried with my sister. She is in Whiting Healthcare .
