Gladys Lewis Davenport Gant, 103, of Lakewood passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025. Gladys was a nursing assistant at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood for 21 years before retiring in 1990. Born in Verona, she resided in Brick before moving to Lakewood in 1980. Gladys was a past member of Osbornville Protestant Church, Brick, and the Deborah Hospital Foundation. Although Gladys lived through many heartaches, she was always a humble, kind, and gracious lady. Gladys was predeceased by her husband, Earl Wynn Gant in 1968, 3 sons, Scott Gant, Craig Gant, and Bruce Gant, her brother, George Davenport, and sister Adelaide Davenport. Gladys is survived by her loving niece, Joanne Hulse and her husband, Jim of Little Egg Harbor, and many other extended family members and friends. Services are private.
