Remembering a Devoted Husband, Father, and Veteran

Wayne R. Coble, Sr., age 86, of Whiting, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025. Born in Trenton, Wayne built a life marked by hard work, dedication, and love for his family. He spent many years working as a diesel mechanic for Mack Trucks in Hamilton before retirement.
Wayne’s journey took him from Morrisville, Pennsylvania, where he resided until 2002, before retiring to Whiting, NJ. He was proud to have served his country in the U.S. Army, embodying the values of service and commitment throughout his life. He was one of the original founding members of the Hemlock Rod and Gun Club where he was actively involved most of his life and had many good friends. He enjoyed organizing the annual fishing seminar. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and shared his love for fishing and hunting with many friends along the way. He loved playing his NJ Lottery scratch offs.
He was predeceased by his father Ralph Coble and Mother Grace Coble and beloved son, Wayne R. Coble, Jr., in 2025. Wayne leaves behind a legacy of love cherished by his devoted wife of 58 years, Patricia; his daughter, Jennifer Coble; his brother, Denis Coble; and his loving grandson, “his football buddy” “his dude” Michael Nixon, Jr., his grandson Joseph Bruno, his very good cousins Tom and Lorraine Hines and special nieces and nephews. Services will be held privately.
