Stephen J. Toth, 85, of Berkeley Twp. passed away Saturday, November 7, 2026. Stephen was a machinist for many years before retiring from Bristol Myers Squibb, New Brunswick.

Stephen was born and raised in New Brunswick and resided in Spotswood before moving to Toms River in 1971. Stephen proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1957-1961.

Stephen was predeceased by his brother Paul Toth in 2002 and his son-in-law Patrick Hefferon in 2020. Stephen is survived by his loving wife Janet, of 63 years, his son Stephen Toth and his wife, Ann of Manahawkin, 3 daughters, Diane Toth of Toms River, Donna Toth-Gibson and her husband, John of Toms River, Jean Toth of Toms River, 8 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation Wednesday, November 11, 2026, from 11am-1pm at DeGraff Lakehurst Funeral Home, 119 Union Ave., Lakehurst. Interment will take place privately at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
