Jane A. Wein, 93, formerly of Leisure Village West, Manchester Twp. passed away Friday August 18, 2023. Born July 24, 1930, in Willow Grove, PA., she resided in Doylestown, PA., until 1981when at that time she moved to Lakehurst, NJ. Jane attended Beaver College. While living in Doylestown, PA., she was the principal’s secretary at Peace Valley Elementary School for 20 years. Her piano playing is her legacy. She studied piano with a Julliard graduate and at age 14 joined the Philadelphia Piano Symphony Orchestra and played at Constitution Hall in Washington, DC. Jane taught piano and to this day a number of her students attribute their love of music and piano to her. While living in Doylestown she attended the First Baptist Church of Doylestown where she played the piano for the choir. When she moved to Lakehurst she became involved in two Chorales, the Westernaires and Crestwood Chorus as well as choir director and pianist at Ocean County Evangelical Free Church. Throughout her lifetime Jane was the recipient of numerous awards and accolades for her contribution to the music community. Most importantly Jane’s life was centered around her walk with the Lord and her devotion of prayer for her family and friends. She is resting in eternal peace with her savior. Her family is rejoicing her passing from this life to her eternal home in Heaven. Jane was predeceased by her husband William Wein in 2004. She is survived by three daughters, Nancy Crawford, Lynn Guttormsen, Janice MacNamara, a stepdaughter, Barbara Lafferty, two sisters, Judy Morgan, Ann Schull, nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
