Mary G. Mathews, 82, of Whiting passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at home. Mary was a lab technician for Royal Heart Laboratories for many years before retiring. Born in Orange, she resided in South Orange, Long Beach Island, Goshen, NY, Manahawkin, Vermont, and Florida before moving to Whiting. Mary was a member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Whiting. Mary was predeceased by her husband Rodney in 2007. Mary is survived by her sons; Jeffery Mathews and his wife, Holly of South Carolina, Gregory Mathews and his wife, Colleen of Whiting, her sister Trudy Jones of Whiting, and six grandchildren. Memorial service 11am Saturday March 8, 2025, at Christ Lutheran Church, 40 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting.
