Richard F. Tauriello, 84, of Barnegat passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at home. Richard was an accountant before retiring early. Richard was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and resided in Dumont, NJ, and Nazareth, PA, with his late wife Carol Tauriello before her passing. Richard moved to Barnegat in 2003, and married Constance. They lived together in Barnegat until Constance passed in June of 2024. Richard proudly served in the U.S. Army. Richard enjoyed cars, boating, model trains, and Italian food. He was a loving father and grandfather. Richard was predeceased by his wife, Constance Tauriello, and his son, Edward Tauriello. Richard is survived by his son, Richard P. Tauriello of CA, his daughter, Monica C. Tauriello and her husband, Iain Thomson of CA, two stepsons, Dr. Paul E. DeMasi of Rochester, NH, Daniel DeMasi and his wife, Erin of Waretown, his stepdaughter, Dr. Debra Higuera and her husband, Shane of VT, and six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services are private.
My condolences..I am going to miss our phone calls and talking about the model trains and his Chevrolet..I always considered him to be a good friend with a good sense of humor…I, too, will miss him
