Mary A. Hons, 89, of Cedar Glen West, Manchester Twp. passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024. Mary was a cashier at Rite Aid, Lakehurst for many years before retiring. Born in Long Branch, she was raised in Freehold and resided in Lakehurst and Whiting before moving to Manchester Twp. in 2009. Mary enjoyed playing bingo and loved her family dearly. Mary was predeceased by her son Dr. James C. Selph, four sisters, Marion, Victoria, Rosemarie, and Sophie, four brothers, Richard, Frank, Martin, and Charles. Mary is survived by two daughters, Jeanie L. Johnson of Jackson, Tamie Zobel of Virginia, nine grandchildren, Monica, Kelly, Cliff, Jeremy, Christopher, Bethany, Gregory, David, and Amanda, ten great-grandchildren, Samuel, Summer, Owen, Kaylee, Rylee, Nora, Noah, Elijah, Dylan, and Sydney. Private burial at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
