Lillian M. Atkinson, 97, of Whiting passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025. Lillian worked for McGraw-Hill Publishing, Hightstown for many years before retiring in 1988. Lillian was born in Long Branch in 1928 and resided in Millstone before moving to Whiting in 1992.

She was a graduate of Brookdale Community College. Lillian was an active member of her community, participating in Crestwood Village V Women’s Club and bowling league, as well as the Hilltop and Harmony Golf leagues.

She was predeceased by her husband, Roy Atkinson, in 2014. Lillian is survived by her three sons: Edward Lee, Richard Lee, and David Lee; her brother, Thomas Burke; and six grandchildren. Services are private.
