Thomas J. Petoia, 59, of Toms River passed away Friday, March 13, 2026. Thomas was a veterinarian assistant at Adamston Veterinary Clinic, Brick for over 20 years. Born in Lakewood, he was a lifelong resident of Brick before moving to Toms River. Thomas loved animals.
Thomas is survived by his son Brian C. Petoia of Brick, his parents Salvatore and Judith Petoia of Brick, his brother Robert Petoia (Katie) of Manahawkin, his sisters Veronica Strunck (Donnie) of Manahawkin, Natalie Fevola (Ronald) of Carlisle, PA, Stephanie Bosley (Richard) of Jackson, and 10 nieces and nephews.
Memorial gathering 12-2pm Saturday, March 21, 2026, at DeGraff Lakehurst Funeral Home, 119 Union Ave., Lakehurst.
God and very good friend of mine of 30+ years. first meet tom in the brick police Explorers and became instant friends we were 18 years old then. tom i enjoyed the time you spent with faith and i doing uber eats the joking around you where a great friend i will never forget you tom you will be missed very much. rest in peace my friend
