Mary S. De Rosa, 74, of Pine Ridge at Crestwood, Whiting passed away Monday, March 30, 2026, at Community Medical Center, Toms River.
Mary was a medical assistant for Dr. Steven Swartz, Middletown for many years. Born in Long Branch, she was raised in Rumson and resided in Morganville and North Brunswick before moving to Whiting in 2018.
Active in her community, Mary enjoyed crafting, painting, and crocheting blankets for Veterans.
Mary was predeceased by her husband David J. De Rosa in 2008, and her parents, Henry and Susan Sundermeyer. Mary is survived by her son, John H. De Rosa and his fiancée, Stephanie Kelly of Ridley Park, PA., and her brother Henry (Hank) Sundermeyer, Jr. of Newark, DE.
Interment will take place privately at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Red Bank. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date to be determined
