Beverly A. Crennan, 59, of Whiting left this world peacefully with Jesus Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from Community Medical Center, Toms River, while surrounded by family. Beverly worked in various roles throughout her life, from a cashier at K-Mart through being a small business owner with her husband Tommy, co-owning Keys on Wheels Locksmithing. The roles she took most seriously and cherished were those of being a loving mother to her two children and a dedicated, faithful wife to her husband. She enjoyed traveling and seeing new places when she could, spending time at the beach, making memories with family, woodworking, gardening, baking cookies during Christmastime with her children, reading, and both watching and feeding the local wildlife that frequented the woods and property of her home in Whiting.
Born in South Amboy, Beverly grew up with her parents and 4 older siblings in Hazlet. After marrying her husband and having her children, she moved to Jackson in the early nineties before eventually moving to Whiting in 2018, where she spent the rest of her life. Beverly was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church, Whiting and was a life member of the Jackson, NJ VFW Post # 4703 Auxiliary.
Beverly was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Eileen Raba, and her brothers Robert Raba, Jr., and James Raba, and her father-in-law, Thomas A. Crennan. Beverly is survived by her husband Thomas J. Crennan, Sr., of 39 years, her son Thomas J. Crennan, Jr., of Franklinville, her daughter Heather Crennan of Rosedale, MD, her sisters Linda Malley of Venus, TX, and Diane Hoffman of Medford, OR., 2 grandchildren, Zachary and Colton Sica, several nieces and nephews, and her mother-in-law Diana Crennan of Virginia Beach, VA.
Services will be conducted at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Toms River, on Friday, August 21st, at 10 AM, with a gathering to follow at the Jackson VFW Post # 4703, in Jackson, at 1 PM.

I’m so sorry to hear of Beverly‘s passing. I went to beer Street with her and also Raritan and we kept in touch even after high school. My deepest condolences to the entire family for the their huge loss. Beverly will be greatly missed

I am her Daughter – Heather. me, my father and my brother are all completely devastated by our loss – everything happened so quickly! It was very hard to digest, but we are taking it one day at a time.
