Margaret A. Stecher, 87, of Leisure Village West, Manchester Twp. passed away peacefully Monday, May 26, 2025. Margaret was a secretary for NYS Workers Compensation Board for many years before retiring. Born and raised in New York City she lived in Las Vegas, NV before moving to Manchester Twp. in 2019. Margaret enjoyed bowling, fishing, watching movies, and the beach. Margaret was predeceased by 5 brothers, Richard, William (Billy), Kenneth, Walter (Butchie), Raymond, and her sister, Barbara. Margaret is survived by 3 brothers, Robert Stecher of Manchester Twp., Kevin Stecher of Las Vegas, NV, Nicholas Stecher and his wife, Alice (Pat) of Goshen, NY, her sister Alice Ziel of Manchester Twp., and many nieces and nephews. Visitation 1-5pm Monday, June 2, 2025, and 10-11am Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at DeGraff Lakehurst Funeral Home, 119 Union Ave., Lakehurst. Burial to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
