Mary H. Souto, 98, of Pine Lake Park, Manchester Twp. passed away Sunday, October 4, 2026, at home. Mary was a bank teller for First National Bank of Toms River for many years before retiring. Born and raised in Newark, she moved to Manchester Twp. 57 years ago.

Mary was a parishioner of St. John’s R.C. Church, Lakehurst and was a member of the Rosarian Society making and distributing rosary beads to various countries.

Mary was predeceased by her husband Marcal in 2000 and her daughter Donita Souto Kelly in 2019. Mary is survived by her sons Mark Souto and his wife, Barbara of Huntington Beach, CA, Dennis Souto and his wife, Ann of Portsmouth, NH, her sister Belinda Mayer of Jackson Twp., 5 grandchildren Matthew, Andrew, Lee, Daniel, Lauren, and 4 greatgrandchildren Cole, Mo, Luke, and Caleb.

Visitation 2-4 & 7-9pm Friday, October 9, 2026, at DeGraff Lakehurst Funeral Home, 119 Union Ave. Burial 11am Saturday, October 10, 2026, at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust Dr., Lakewood.
