I can remember coming to N.J. when I was a kid and Mike had his bedroom in the basement, if I remember correctly. He had all these King Kong & Empire State Building figurines, I thought those were the coolest things ever. He was always really genuinely nice when he would talk to me. He had a very understanding and sweet nature that reminded me of his mom, I always was amazed at their good nature.
I worked with him for a few years. Have some good memories of him and wish the family well.
Rest in Peace.
Mike had this laugh that made you feel good even though what you said was utterly ridiculous. His friendship and positivity was a boon for many, and he kept me going when I was at my lowest. He was definitely family, and I’ll miss him terribly. Heartfelt condolences to all those that knew and loved him.
I’m sorry for your loss Mike was a very good friend and fun person to be around I’m going to miss our conversations together. He was like a brother to me.
Pope has been a best friend to me for years. I’ll miss all our outings to comic shops, comic cons, fleamarkets, movies and just going out to eat. His sense of humor and laugh was contagious. We shared so many fun memories. Pope was a good man. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his friends and family.
