Annette Black, 90, of Cedar Glen Lakes in Whiting passed away Saturday July 4 2026, at Alcoeur Gardens Toms River.  Annette was foremost a wife and mother but worked at St Peter’s Medical Center and most recently the NJ Museum of Agriculture.

She enjoyed playing cards and Mahjong with friends at CGL.  She was very active with many of the groups there and was always helping friends and neighbors.

Annette is predeceased by her husband Carl in 2001, sisters Rita and Louise.  She is survived by her children Suzanne Black DVM, husband Edward Schoene DVM, Arthur Black, wife Jill Sargeant, and Sharon Black, grandchildren Betsy Lawrie and husband Zachary, Molly Lashway and husband Stephen, and Carly Price, 3 great grandchildren Lillian & Leo Lawrie and Richard Lashway

A celebration of life will be held at the Cedar Glen Lakes Clubhouse on Sunday August 23 from noon-3.   Please bring a dish to pass, (non alcoholic) beverages and coffee will be provided.
