Diana Marie Gurrera-Gallo, 83, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on September 20, 1943, in Newark, NJ to the late Charles & Lillian Gurrera, she graduated from Girls Vo-Tech High School, and worked as an Administrative Assistant with Weichert Realtors for 19 years, retiring in 2003.

Diana had a passion for cooking, and it brought her much joy in preparing meals for her family and friends, or tending to her garden. She would not be found doing either without wearing one of her favorite housecoats.

She was predeceased by her brother, Daniel Gurrera. She leaves behind her loving husband of 64 years, Michael; her son, Michael Paul, and his wife Alexandra; her daughter Deanna; her granddaughter Gianna Marie; and Nieces, Nephews and Friends, who will all miss her dearly.

Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in the countless memories she gave us, and the enduring legacy of love she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Funeral Mass 10:00am Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at St. John’s R.C. Church, 619 Chestnut St., Lakehurst followed by interment at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
