John F. Ford, 57, of Whiting passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. John worked for Celtic Landscape, Whiting. Born in Lakewood, he resided in Lakehurst and Manchester Twp. before moving to Whiting 5 years ago.

John loved and played sports all his life. From Pop Warner football, to playing behind the post office to becoming a Manchester Hawks football star. From little league baseball to the adult softball league, John excelled at any sport he played. John not only loved playing sports he was a big fan of sports all together. His favorite teams were the Jets, Devils, and Reds.

John is survived by his daughter, Hailey Weigel of Jackson Twp., 3 brothers, Glenn Ford of Pleasantville, Michael Ford of Lakehurst, Richard Tatham of Toms River, his sister, Debra Tatham of NJ, his girlfriend Deborah Higbee of Whiting, their beloved dog Neo, and many extended family members and friends.

Memorial gathering 5-7pm Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at DeGraff Lakehurst Funeral Home, 119 Union Ave., Lakehurst.
