Robert F. (Bob) Moran, Sr., 87, of Whiting passed away Monday, September 21, 2026. Born in Hoboken, Bob grew up in Elizabeth and resided in Springfield before moving to Manchester Twp. in 2006.

Bob and his wife Shirley owned and operated Flowers by Moran in Hillside and Union for 42 years. Upon retiring to Manchester Twp. Bob continued his passion for floral design working with various garden centers and florists creating beautiful holiday bows and grave blankets. Bob was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church, Whiting and a longtime member of Knights of Columbus #3197 and the League of St. Jude.

Bob was predeceased by 2 brothers; John and Walter Moran. Bob is survived by his loving wife Shirley of nearly 63 years, his sons; Robert F. Moran, Jr., and his wife, Jennifer of Clark, Patrick Moran and his wife, Kristine of Mountainside, his daughter; Erin DeMasi and her husband, Dan of Waretown, his lifelong friend Anne Sullivan of Manchester Twp., 6 beloved grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter.

Visitation 2-6pm Thursday, September 24, 2026, at DeGraff Lakehurst Funeral Home, 119 Union Ave., Lakehurst. Entombment 11am Friday, September 25, 2026, at, St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
